Where each one wins

The case for moving from Linktree

Linktree does more around the link page itself: selling, a social planner and Instagram auto-reply. Artistplus is the choice when you want the link page, the website and the music behind them kept in step from one place.

  • Linktree: linktr.ee/yourname, on every plan

    The address

  • Linktree: Links you add to the page yourself

    Your releases

Artistplus: Picked from your catalog, kept current on the page

  • Linktree: No press kit on their plans page

Artistplus: One that rebuilds itself, on one short link

  • Linktree: Digital products and shops, no seller fee on Premium

    Selling

Artistplus: No store. Invoicing only, with no commission

  • Linktree: A social planner, and Instagram auto-reply on every plan

01

Your website still gets your own address

Every Linktree lives at linktr.ee/yourname, and their help center is direct about it: no custom domain, no forwarding. An Artistplus website takes a domain you own. The Artistplus link page has its own short address and is the page you put in a bio.

  • Search a domain, buy it, and connect it to your website without leaving the dashboard
  • DNS and SSL handled for you, on your domain and the free one
  • Add booking@ and press@ addresses that land where you already read mail
/domains
The Domains page: the artist’s free Artistplus subdomain listed as active, with a panel below it to connect, buy or transfer a custom domain.
02

Your links come from your catalog

Artistplus connects to Spotify or SoundCloud once and imports your releases with artwork. From there a release or a show is one pick away from your link page, and a changed ticket link or new artwork follows by itself.

  • Pick a release or a show instead of retyping it
  • Make a release private and it leaves the link page without a publish
  • Plain links on the free plan, rich cards with artwork on Opener and above
/catalog
The My Music catalog: release, live-on-site and lifetime-play counts above a grid of imported releases with their cover art.
03

The press kit behind the link

When a promoter asks for your press kit, a list of links is not an answer. Artistplus builds one from your top songs, latest photos and site design, and keeps it current.

  • One epk.plus link that always resolves to the current version
  • See who opened it and when, with per-recipient links

Moving over

Moving over takes one paste

Nothing to export, nothing to rebuild. Your music is already on Spotify or SoundCloud, and that is what Artistplus reads.

  1. Paste your Spotify or SoundCloud link

Onboarding reads your releases, artwork and bio, then builds the pages. A real site in minutes, not a blank template.

  2. Check it and make it yours

Edit any section, pick a palette and fonts, and add the photos and shows the import could not know about.

  3. Publish, then start your link page

Your link page publishes separately from your website. Add your releases and shows to it, publish it, and change the link in your bio when you are happy.

Nothing here is one-way. Keep your Linktree live while you build, and switch the link in your bio when you choose to.

FAQ

Linktree questions, answered

Can I use my own domain with Linktree?

No. Their help center says there is no option to replace the linktr.ee URL and no domain forwarding. Artistplus paid plans connect a domain you own to your website, or buy one for you, and handle DNS and SSL. The Artistplus link page has its own short address.

Do I have to delete my Linktree to use Artistplus?

No. Keep it live while you build, then change the one link in your bio when your Artistplus link page is published.

Is Artistplus harder to set up than a link page?

Setup is one paste. Give it a Spotify or SoundCloud link and it builds the pages from your catalog, so the first version exists before you edit anything.

Can I sell things on Artistplus like I can on Linktree?

Not yet. Linktree lets you sell digital products such as courses and templates, and its own seller fee is 0% on Premium. Artistplus has no store. We do invoice, on every plan and with no commission, which covers bookings, sessions and teaching.

What does Artistplus cost compared with Linktree?

Both have a free plan. Linktree has three paid plans, Starter, Pro and Premium, and prices them by region, so check their pricing page for yours. Artistplus is $30 a month, or $24 billed annually, for a custom website domain, unlimited pages, storage, invoicing and press kits.

What is free on the Artistplus link page, and what is paid?

On the free plan: basic links you can reorder, hide and archive, your name, photo and bio, an automatic row of your social icons, with no customization, one-click cards for your releases, shows and photos, with artwork, subtitles, thumbnails and featured cards on your links, headings and text between your links, music and video players that play on the page, a design locked to your website template, a share sheet, a Stories picture and a QR code, a Message button that lands in your inbox, a Subscribe sheet that takes a phone number or an email address, a read-only list of who subscribed, a 30-day summary report. Opener and above add: your own colors, fonts, buttons and backgrounds, a photo gallery on the page, control over the order and style of your social icons, links that start and end on a schedule, a latest release card that updates itself, a next show card that updates itself.

Does Artistplus email my subscribers for me?

No. The Subscribe form collects addresses for your own mailing list and confirms each one by email. Artistplus does not send newsletters or release announcements to them.
